Yesterday I told you something was coming.
Today it's out.
I sat down with Reh Bhanji and David Lee on Discovery Series: Unplugged a couple of months ago. The episode dropped this morning. Thirty minutes, one topic.
Why advisors should be running events.
Not the seminar where you stand at the front of a hotel ballroom with a slide deck. The kind of event people actually want to show up to. The kind where clients bring friends because it feels like being part of something.
Here's the thing.
Most advisors think of events as a marketing expense. Something you do once, count the leads, and decide it didn't work.
That's not how it works. Events build relationships. Relationships build community. And community is what makes you the advisor everyone in your market already knows.
In the episode I walk through three rules I keep coming back to. Event consistency. The COI multiplier. And the amplifier.
We also get into how to plan events your clients will actually attend, how to think about cost over time instead of per event, and how to stretch every event further through social media.
If you've been reading this newsletter for a while, a lot of it will sound familiar. It's the stuff I've been writing about for months. This is just the version where you hear me talk it through out loud.
So here's my ask.
Go listen to it. Put it on for your next drive to a client meeting or your next walk around the block.
If it hits, give it a like. Share it. Send it to an advisor friend who's been talking about running events but hasn't pulled the trigger yet. Forward it to your team. Drop it in your study group chat.
That's how this stuff spreads. One advisor sending it to another.

And if something in there sparks an idea for your own practice, hit reply. I read every one.
